“Sunset Valley isn’t safe.”
The words are whispered on the streets so often, it seems the wind repeats them as it whistles through the trees. Up and down each street, For Sale signs appear. People are desperate to uproot their families before they’re torn asunder. No one’s buying, who wants to move to a city where everyone looks over their shoulder at their neighbour with suspicion? The streets are silent well before night falls and no one knows what happened to four children, they only know it’s happened before and they don’t want to be here if it happens again.
Hello, I hope you’re still here. I am… Obviously. I’m determined to finish this story, so please don’t give up on me if I don’t update frequently.
Thank you, as ever, for reading.
